Read to learn, think to enhance, and write to inspire.

Something I probably should have learned in public school...

Did you know that John Adams (signer of the declaration of independence, 1st vice president, second president, etc etc) and Thomas Jefferson (author / signer of the declaration of independence, third president, guy who actually signed the Louisiana Purchase, and rewrote the apostles in the New Testament to remove the miracles and other supernatural references to Christ Google "The Jefferson's Bible") BOTH died 50 years to the day after the signing of the declaration of independence? July 4th, 1826.... Jefferson's last words "Is it the forth?". Adams last words "Jefferson still lives"...

Having just got out of my American Constitutional Law class and hearing about this for the first time, I can't help but think.... Why the hell was I taught that George Washington chopped down the apple tree against his fathers wishes (which was a completely fabricated story to sell biographies of the first president) and something like this was never mentioned... Maybe I slept through that class... If you didn't know, now you do... :)

A Vow of Silence Church Inc The Corruption of American Christianity

Found this short ebook on a torrent site. This seems thought provoking enough to post here...

A Vow of Silence
Church Inc.
The corruption of American Christianity

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”
Eccl 12:13, 14
Maxim of law; “Ignorance of the law is NO excuse.” This maxim of English law that is recognized in the United States is applicable in both the Spiritual and Physical realms. Maxim of law; “You are presumed to know the law. (If you are of legal age.)” This maxim is also applicable. The ramifications of these principles are vast. The tendrils reach into every area of life. We must “watch and be sober” lest through a “lack of knowledge” we would “destroy” ourselves. All have a duty to educate themselves as to their duties, responsibilities and the ramifications of their decisions and actions.

Movies that have the potential to counter the effect of mind numbing reality TV!

Just doing a minor compilation at the moment. These are movies and documentaries that I've watched that I believe have some significance or actually encourage the firing of neurons... Check the titles on Youtube or through ISOhunt.com for torrents to download the movies. I'll update this as time progresses and might even throw in the IMDB references for each... In due time, in due time... If you feel something should be here hit me up on the contact form or post a comment. If I haven't seen it I'll do so and afterwords I'll add the suggestion to this list that will surely grow.

Changing the landscape... Trees and the Constitution. pt1

I started the day with a early visit to a local nursery with the intentions of purchasing a few tomato plants and a couple of Japanese Privets or Waxleaf Privets to spice up the yard at my parents house. After scouring around the nursery itself, I found my prerogatives had changed in light of an abundance of fruit-bearing trees that seemed more suitable. I guess the old words of wisdom that suggest shopping for food on an empty stomach is a bad idea applies to buying plants as I managed to leave the nursery with two blueberry bushes, a apricot tree, a plum tree, and three fig trees. An hour or so later, the plants were all transplanted in the back yard and filling a void left by the wrath of Hurricane Ike in terms of the loss of trees as a whole.

Breaking in the forums...

Well it seems I should be busy taking care of other tasks at the moment. Have plenty of things to do at this point but I set these things aside to configure Drupal a little more. Just added this site to Google and several other search engines so I figured I'd step things up a notch prior to indexing.

I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to proceed with this blog or site as a whole on the grand scale. I added these forums for the shear sake of testing the functionality offered directly. I'll likely use these forums at a later date more frequently when I don't have something "blog page" worthy that I want to rant about.

As Micron lets another round go...

Posted below is a document I sent to several higher ups on the managerial tree at Micron prior to leaving and taking the volunteer separation package towards the end of 2008. It's easy to leave a company and bash people on the way out, but given the circumstances where as I was choosing to leave for several reasons (some work and most non-work related) I decided to write an honest account of things that I felt could ultimately save jobs at an extremely high tech company here within the United States. I was tempted to just send it to everyone in the entire department at the time to force the managers to have a response or at least make them aware that these issues were out in the open but I didn't want to instigate turmoil on the way out when the place was already in bad shape on the moral front because of the downsizing that was to come.

Putting the pen to the paper...

It's been an extremely interesting and wild ride over the past few years. So many things have changed and progressed in manners that I couldn't have possibly foreseen prior it's almost overwhelming to an extent. I guess that's the game called life though.

Life in 2058 (xfer from the less used myspace blog)

April 24th, 2058... 0703 hrs...

Today I purchased my first computer… Behold, my computer just informed me that I typed something that wasn't true. Testing… Ok, let me try again. Today I purchased my first computer that has an artificial intelligence that supersedes my own mental capacity. Interesting! It didn't try to autocorrect this last statement. This device knows when I'm falsifying data. What ever happened to a simple spelling and grammar check? Oh shit, a slightly transparent window appeared with the answer to that question… Fucking GoogleSoft…

Creating the Perspective

Whereas even I'd admit that some of my views are not only radical in ways but tend to veer leaps and bounds away from the everyday conforming perspectives many people share, I feel it is only fair to give a simplistic account of the historical account of what has led me to where I am to this day.
